RCMAP product suite consists nine fractional components: annual herbaceous, bare ground, litter, nonsagebrush shrub, perennial sagebrush, tree, in addition temporal trends each component. Several enhancements were made process relative prior generations. First, we have trained time-series predictions directly 331 high-resolution sites collected 2013 2018 field data; for example, Bureau Land Management Assessment, Inventory, instead 2016 “base” map as an intermediary. This removes one level model error allows direct association derived training data corresponding year imagery. Neural network models replaced Cubist our classifier. Continuous Change Detection Classification synthetic images obtained six monthly periods region added predictors. These enhance phenologic detail imagery, improving discrimination among components. Postprocessing has been improved with updated fire recovery equations stratified by ecosystem resistance resilience classes. Additionally, postprocessing enhanced through a revised noise detection model, based on third order polynomial component pixel. can be used answer critical questions regarding effect climate change suitability management practices. Rangeland Condition Monitoring: A New Approach Using Cross-Fence Comparisons of Remotely Sensed Vegetation
A need exists in arid rangelands for effective monitoring of the impacts of grazing management on vegetation cover. Monitoring methods which utilize remotely-sensed imagery may have comprehensive spatial and temporal sampling, but do not necessarily control for spatial variation of natural variables, such as landsystem, vegetation type, soil type and rainfall. We use the inverse of the red band...
متن کاملNKS-130, Wire System Aging Assessment and Condition Monitoring (WASCO)
Nuclear facilities rely on electrical wire systems to perform a variety of functions for successful operation. Many of these functions directly support the safe operation of the facility; therefore, the continued reliability of wire systems, even as they age, is critical. Condition Monitoring (CM) of installed wire systems is an important part of any aging program, both during the first 40 year...
متن کاملBridge Structural Condition Assessment Based on Vibration and Traffic Monitoring
A stochastic model of traffic excitation on bridges is developed assuming that the arrival of vehicles traversing a bridge modeled as an elastic beam follows a Poisson process, and that the contact force of a vehicle on the bridge deck can be converted to equivalent dynamic loads at the nodes of the beam elements. The parameters in this model, such as the Poisson arrival rate and the stochastic...
